Toot Books presents an all-new haunting middle-grade series, RECESS IN PEACE. This spine-chilling, lightly serialized series will tackle kid's horror as we've never seen it before... On the playground, during recess! Every scare will occur on Fall Valley Academy's playground. Every story will stem from the hero's main feelings while on a mind-melting recess adventure. In our first installment, DAWN OF THE DEAD KID, Pacey Graham is the twelve-year-old shy new kid at Fall Valley Academy. His new school is the biggest place ever. At least it'll be easy for Pacey to hide in the shadows, just the way he likes it. But there's something else lurking in the darkness with him, something that will root through his feelings and force him to take a new bite out of life. We all know being the new kid is tough, but being the new kid who's turning into a ZOMBIE… that's just deadly.
